Main Event

The Stirling Aquathlon is an established classic on the Scottish Racing Calendar. The racecourse will be familiar to those who have competed in the Stirling Triathlon over the years, as it involves the same swim and run routes.

Seniors will race over 750m in the 50m Scottish Swimming Academy pool followed by a 2 laps course making up a 5km run section. Anyone over the age of 17 is classed as senior.

The Junior race is open to children of 8 to 16 years and the run course is held on the grass playing fields at the front of the swimming pool so are safe and traffic free. Age groups are based on age at end of the year. e.g. If you're 11th birthday is coming up this Summer then you'll race in the 11-12 age group, even though you'll only be 10 on the day of the race. This ensures that you race against the same people all year through.
