Aberfeldy Half 2012

An early start, mist and rain didn't stop the crowds from Stirling Triathlon gathering in the early morning light at Kenmore for this years Aberfeldy Half.  Some had very early starts having chosen the comfort of their own beds the night before - others had a very early start courtesy of the Dunnolly fire alarm which went off at 5am. 

Luckily the sun did come out on the bike route - but not enough to clear the debris off the roads from the torrential rain earlier in the week as many punctures will testify.

Some great performances from club members including:

  • Cliona Ferguson - first woman out of the water
  • David McDonald - second in age group
  • Kris Henderson and Vicky Jack - second and third in age group

And thanks to Viv and the Hanson clan for sorting out a great BBQ to end the day.
