Xterra World Champion Lesley Paterson visits STC

About 50 juniors from the club had a chance of a lifetime today to take part in a training session with Lesley Paterson.

The afternoon training session started with an hour in the pool led by our coaches.  Having made sure the kids were suitably exhausted they then handed them over to Lesley who led a land based session who made sure that any remaining energy stores were completely emptied.  Feedback from the juniors after included:
    "I've never worked so hard in all my life"
    "Awsome fun"

Thanks to all the coaches who planned, organised and turned out this afternoon.  And especial thanks to Lesley for taking time out of her holidays to come along and insipre us.
