There is also a separate event for juniors, allowing ages 8 and upwards to take part and join in the fun. All entrants will receive a goodie bag with race day mementoes!
Excellent changing and refreshment facilities are available on site.
British Triathlon Federation rules and regulations apply (with further information available in the BTF Rule Book) and details of each race, including eligibility, start times and distances can be found below.

As per 2015 & 2016, the 2017 event will have LIVE results and tracking via the British Triathlon Federation website. Go to the bottom of this page (or click here) to select the athlete to track.
2017 results will be available for download in spreadsheet format in the results section of the website.
Race registration takes place on the playing fields close to Transition. The swim will be in the University pool with exit via the fire exits to the transition area in front of the car park. Bike & run route maps are currently being updated and will be available shortly.
Please note, if you have registered for the race using a membership number or race license you MUST present your membership card at registration or you will be required to pay an £5 surcharge to cover insurance for the day.
It is important that you submit an accurate swim time. However, due to the length of time between entries opening and the event date, we will accept changes emailed to the race organiser up to 27th May 2016. Absolutely no further changes will be accepted after this date. Swim heat allocations will be available here from Tuesday 30th May 2017, as well as copies available at registration.

Car parking: Ample parking can be found by driving up the hill past the Swimming Pool, take the 2nd exit off the mini-roundabout then take the immediate left into the car-park.
Changing: Available in the Gannochy Building. Bring a £1 coin for the lockers. We advise against using the swimming pool changing rooms as there is public swimming on after our event.
First aid: Provided by HART Services Scotland.
Catering: University Café, vending machines and mobile coffee and ice-cram vans.
Entertainment: AR Entertainment will be along with inflatables to keep the old and young amused once again
Transition will close 40 minutes before the first heat starts and will remain closed until the last competitors have finished. This is to ensure everyone is given a fair and equal chance to compete regardless of ability.

The Stirling Junior Triathlon is a fun event set in the grounds of one of Britain's most picturesque Universities. The event is aimed at all abilities and acts as an introduction to the sport of Triathlon.
The run course is set within enclosed grass playing fields and traffic free. We have once again secured access to FULLY CLOSED ROADS within the university campus for the duration of the Junior race. This will allow us to run the bike section of the race as laps of a completely traffic free road circuit.

Triathlon age groups are based on age at end of the year (e.g. if your 11th birthday is coming up this November then you'll race in the 11-12 age group, even although you'll only be 10 on the day of the race). This ensures that you race against the same people all year.
